A Should-Watch-TV Show: Food Investigators @ SBS

It was all started with my boyfriend sending me this link in msn and told me that it's a good show. Usually I wouldn't bother to watch any linked video that was sent to me. But, apparently I got nothing so important to do tonight, then I started to watch.

It was a second episode of a show called 'Food Investigator' at SBS. It is kind of 'investigating' food by two medical practitioners (in common way that I'm trying to classify both presenters), then they would provide you food fact-sheets and some sort of clarification of food 'myths' and any other sort of things. Shortly speaking, it is a really good and interesting show in my opinion. Why? Coz' it gives you practical and daily knowledge about food around you, in terms of healthiness, nutrition, consumption pattern, etc.

Within this episode, it provided some sort of clarification of public opinion about the kebab's unhealthiness, confirming the necessities of consuming free-range eggs, telling you the new term 'trolleyology' in effect of humans' spending & consumption in a supermarket, and it also showed a couple who was trying to eat like our ancestors (i.e.: only eat meat, fruits and vegetables) within 2 weeks.

In effect, I gained some more understanding about the difference between organic, free range, antibiotic free, preservative free, or hormone-free eggs; the fact of consuming kebab is actually not that unhealthy (with a concern of some notes mentioned in the show); how we should eat in daily lives in order to maintain the healthy-life-balance and probably, regardless it's necessary or not, all of us should get at least a little diet in terms of sugar, salt and preservative.

Well, apparently I'm attracted to watch the next episode, and I also found some interesting facts even recipes within the website. So, I guess it's a good start to know more about getting healthy food and start consuming them afterwards.
