Shortly speaking, long weekend, long story :)
Dimulai dari hari Sabtu pagi yang gw awali dgn medical check-up. It's just a general health check with undertaking blood test as my mom keep nagging me to do it, just in case if I've got diabetes (due to over-consumption of sugar, lol). So, to make her happy (then I can probably scan n email the result to her later on), I'll do what I need to do. As I've been a Australian permanent resident, I've got some sort of general health insurance, so I thought I dun need to pay anything for the medical check. Yet, apparently, I went to the wrong medical centre. It's because I was required pay $40 (and I can't claim it back), then another $34 when I come back to get the result on next few days. Means, I have to pay around $70s for the medical check.
D-a-m-n...
Well, kemudian gw coba berpikir positif. Itung2 buat kesehatan, jarang2 gw keluar duit, jadi yah masih fair dech (mskipun dlm hati, gw ud mikir ga bakalan balik lg ke tempet itu). Stlh kelar medical check, I went down to Gloria Jeans to get some late breakfast (secara gw ga mkn dr mlm sblmnya, kali2 ngepek buat health check). Kemudian, gw bli small hot chocolate n raisin toast. Kemudian, something bad happened when I looked straight to the opposite of the shop which is nuts shop called Nuts Galorie.
Perhaps, I should tell y'all this one first. On Friday, my colleague showed me an email from client that is dedicated to my boss. She's responsible for collecting payments from client, especially for whom still got the outstanding amount payable to us. This client is supposed to pay us for $500 and my colleague had given time-extension up to 4 weeks. As the payment was due last week, she emailed client to remind him about the payment. Then, here's what client wrote to my boss:
Dear Chris,
Thank you for your email. However sir, I want to say something to you. As you know, I want to go back to my country but I don't have enough money. Then, suddenly there was a special fare to Bangladesh which is $800 lower than usual. Then, I couldn't control myself and I bought one for me, and I am going overseas on September. So, I don't have money to pay you sir. Thank you for your attention, sir.
God bless you.
Then all of us were laughing after reading this email as he had been too honest telling us that he couldn't control himself to get a ticket to overseas, while he's supposed to pay us obviously before bought the ticket. Ckckck....
Anyway, back to my story in Gloria Jeans. So, something bad happened. Really really bad. Coz I'd been addicted to toasted corn that is sold in that nuts shop. Then, after half-an-hour staring the shop, thinking, analysing the cost-benefit of getting it, I couldn't control my self to buy the 100 gr toasted corn for my second breakfast after raisin toast.

100 gr Toasted Corn Chilli-Cheezy
I'll tell u later why this nyummy-crunchy thingy has become something really2 bad for me. Well, apparently, gw doyan bgt ama toasted corn ini yg rasanya macem2 yaitu, BBQ, Chilli and Cheezy. Sblmnya, gw cobain yg rasa Chilli, rasanya pedes bgt, bnr2 pedes rasa bubuk cabe. Tapi, mslhnya, skali ud mkn, ga bisa berenti! Pgnnya mkn trs ampe ludes. Blajar dr pngalaman itu, gw bli yg dicampur am rasa cheese, biar pedesnya ga amit2 kyk dulu. Tapi kenikmatannya tetep mantep! Jadilah gw nongkrong lg di Gloria Jeans ditemani brg2 spt di bwh ini:
FYI, toasted cornnya ampe nyaris ludes seketika
FYI, toasted cornnya ampe nyaris ludes seketikaWell, stlh gw akhirnya kenyang jg mkn breakfast yg notabene gw kelarin jam 12 siang, gw pun akhirnya beranjak ke shopping centres dgn tujuan cari kado. Sambil ditemenin salah seorang tmn uni gw, kita pun hunting ke Myer n toko2 terdekat. Kebetulan bulan ini ud mulai byk EOFYS (End Of Year Sale), jadi di mana2 rame bgt am org2 yg pd rebutan brg2 sale. Dan hasil pencarian gw pun menjadi sepasang sepatu hitam that I bought it for myself. Artinya, gw ga dpt kado yg gw cari. The moral story is, don't try to buy a gift within sales period coz what you bought will be 'a gift' for yourself.
